DELIA AXMAN
Mama, Registered Nurse, artist, and farmer florist.
My own story with gardening starts with growing up on a farm; A giant farm garden is just something that is wired into my DNA. My grandmothers on both sides were talented gardeners. My favourite memory of childhood is when I would wander around my grandmothers garden in awe, smelling all the flowers, watching the bees, and revelling in the beautiful spaces they had created. I was also very prone to roam the natural pasture surrounding our farm, dog friend at my side, I would make delightful little bouquets of crocuses and native prairie flora. To this day, my own floral design concept is very much “I was walking through a meadow and picked this for you”.
Now that I am a mother, I love witnessing my own little girls exploring and experiencing the garden. That childlike wonder and sense of discovery and play through nature is the basis of my business. You see, the little elves are my own two girls and the flowers grown here are for their joy. And now I am so excited that I get to extend that joy beyond my own family to share with you.
Thank you so much for being here.
A special thank you to Doxa Photography and Focus 22 photography for taking many of the beautiful photographs seen on our website.
